Chemical Analysis
JFE-TEC's Approach to Chemical Analysis
There are several types of analysis such as the chemical analysis and the conformational analysis. The chemical analysis determines elements contained in the sample and their amount, whereas the conformational analysis studies how the molecules in the sample are aligned and configured.
The analysis can be also divided in two types depending on where the analysis is performed. One is the lab analysis and other the on-site analysis.
JFE-TEC can perform these analyses at labs and at on-sites as well as responds to the client's request for the commissioned service of various process related analysis as your outsourcing testing labs.
Analysis Subjects Offered by JFE-TEC
-
- Composition Analysis
-
The optimum analysis method is selected according to the material to be analyzed. JFE-TEC can perform the composition analysis of the materials in various fields.
- Metals
- Batteries
- Semiconductors
- Catalysts
- Ceramics and inorganic materials
- Organic and polymer materials
- Medical devices and medicinal drugs
- Foods
- Various regulated substances (Green Procurement regulated substances)
-
- Wet Chemical Analysis
-
JFE-TEC performs the wet chemical analysis of not only steel related materials but also various non-ferrous metals and ceramics with high accuracy and precision.
-
- Trace Analysis
-
In research and development of the new advanced materials it is important among the composition analysis to know the exact amount of trace elements, impurities, and contaminants.
JFE-TEC can respond to the client's needs in trace analysis by selecting the optimum sampling method and the optimum analysis method based on the predicted concentration of unknown elements and impurities allowing the trace analysis of the sample at minimum quantity with high accuracy and precision.
-
- Conformational Analysis
-
Determining not only the type and the quantity of elements contained in samples but also their conformation are very important to know the properties of the material.
JFE-TEC can analyze and identify the inclusion compounds and the precipitates, determines the particle size and distribution of the materials, and their conformational properties.
-
- Test of Antimicrobial Activities and Test of Antifungal Activities
-
The antifungal activity test in which the concentration of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) involved in the fungal cell is quantified by monitoring the absorbance at a particular wavelength is used to evaluate the fungal growth rate. This test method can be completed within a few days.
-
- Bioscience-related Test
-
JFE-TEC develops the test method of a certain materials related to bioscience while focusing on the antimicrobial stainless steel. JFE-TEC establishes not only the test method for antimicrobial activities but also the evaluation method for determining the compost maturity indices, thereby expanding our service to wider bioscience-related fields.
-
- Analysis and Test on Product Safety
-
In everyday consumer products not only increase of the functionality and reduction of cost but also higher safety is requested in recent years.
JFE-TEC can perform various tests for identifying potential hazards involved in product usage to evaluate risks, and its findings are communicated with the clients to suggest modification if required.
-
- On-site Analysis
-
In the analysis of samples associated with the environment it is important to perform the analysis not only in labs but also at on-site.
JFE-TEC can accept the client's needs for the on-site analysis of samples in a certain subjects.
-
- Commissioned Analysis Service
-
JFE-TEC proposes the clients to outsource the service of various process related analysis as outsourcing testing labs. This service can quickly provide the clients reproducible analytical results with high accuracy and precision as well as minimizes the fluctuation of service quality with cost reduction in manufacture processes.
