Outline of Skin Analysis System
A special optical system enables observation and analysis of the state of skin, which is not possible by visual examination. This technique is not limited to simple surface information. A revolutionary system that enables visualization of analysis of the condition of the skin in the depth direction make it possible to obtain information on the skin which does not appear at the surface. Examples of this information include blood flow (blood circulation), moisture retention property, texture, etc. JFE-TEC can also provide assistance for the development of cosmetics and beauty products by observation of the distribution of these skin features.

Principle of Skin Analysis System
This system utilizes light from the visible to infrared light range, which has comparatively high transmittance in the human body. When infrared slit light is irradiated on the skin surface and the surrounding area is photographed with an area camera, it is possible to detect light including deeper information (light that permeates the body and then leaks out again from the surface) as the distance from the slit light increases.

Image Acquisition while Scanning Slit Light
Measurement by irradiation/scanning of slit light of a wavelength which is absorbed by the object of observation on the skin (for example, if the object is hemoglobin, near infrared light is used).

Simple Measurement Method
Skin characteristics can be measured by simply placing your arm in front of the device. Enables simple observation of all parts of the skin, including the face!
