Evaluation of Medical Equipment/Implant Materials
Bending Fatigue Test of Bone Plates
Evaluation of fatigue strength of bone plates under cyclic loading in accordance with JIS standard.
Outline of Measurement Technology
Because damage to bone plates frequently originates from screw holes near the fracture line, evaluation by the 4-point bending test is recommended from the viewpoint of strength of materials.
The 4-point bending fatigue test is effective when evaluating the durability of products in which new materials are used.
This test evaluates the durability of bone joining devices which are subject to bending loads in accordance with the corresponding JIS standards.
